DENSO corrosion prevention tape with butyl rubber
Plastics tape for corrosion protection of pipelines, tanks as well as for insulating of electrical installations.
DENSOLEN Tape ET 100 is a black plastics tape made from butyl rubber.
DENSOLEN Tape ET 100 amalgamates at the overlaps to form a sleeve-type and totally watertight and highly electrically insulating.
Useage
l Corrosion prevention of surface installations
As an inner wrap in combination with an outer wrap of DENSO-Sirex-Tape. Constant operating temperature max. 100°C.
l Corrosion prevention of underground installations
As an inner wrap in combination with an outer wrap of DENSOLEN"R" tape. Constant operating temperature max. 75° C,depending on type of DENSOLEN "R" tape and mechanical stress
As an inner wrap in combination with an outer wrap of DENSOLEN "S" or "R" tape and an additional mechanical protection, e.g. DENSOLEN Rock shield DRM PP up to constant operating temperatures of + 85° C.
As an inner wrap in combination with PU-half sections or concrete coating up to continuous operating temperatures up to + 100° C.
l Sealing
Galvanic isolation of different metal parts connected to each other to prevent contact corrosion
Sealing of riveted and screwed connections in the construction of vehicles and in the body making industry
Insulating and sealing of electrical installations:
Socket necks of cable entry sides and on cable sockets
Cable entry of boxes, cages and cabinets of open-air and damp- room installations
Cable installations of signal and telecommunication systems
