This specification shows technical, functional and layout features of “Heat Shrink Fiber Optic Fusion Splice
Protector Micro Sleeve”, suitable for bare optical fibers with a diameter of 250 µm.
2. HEAT SHRINK MICRO SLEEVE LAYOUT
The sleeve is made by hot-melt Adhesive – Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) or Polyethylene (PE) – internally and
by irradiation cross-linked polyolefin heat shrinkable tubing externally. There also is a reinforcing pin made by
deburred and polished stainless steel. Please refer to the picture below
