1.Description
Mastic butyl rubber filler tape are dedigned as an underlying filler material prior to the application of XUNDA Coating System and XUNDA heat shrinkable products .The elastomeric formulation is very conformable , making it ideal for filling in transaction areas around tees, ells ,valves, specials ,welded and coupled field joints. The filler tape maintains flexibility over a wide temperature range and under various conditions encountered in the field.
Filler tape is a thick mastic like butyl-like butyl rubber filler designed to fill and smooth transition areas. The semi-tacky composition remains flexible and is easily molded in filler to conform around irregualr shapes.
2.Structure
The specification fo the butyl rubber mastic tape consists of two layers ,Adhesive layer and interleaf layer
Adhesive :Butyl rubber synthetic compound ,solvent
Interleaf:Anti adhesion film treated with silicone.

Excellent adhesion and sealing characteristics to metals ,rubbers, synthetic cable insulation and jackets, conctete.
